F. Sigmund Topor

Doctor of Philosophy in Education, Specialization in Post-Secondary and Adult Education, Capella University, Minneapolis, MN, U.S.A.

Sigmund Topor is a Scholar-Practitioner and President of International & Intercultural Communications. F (Francis) Sigmund Topor conducts research on a full-time basis and lecturers at several universities including the University of Electro-Communications, Seijo and Keio Universities in Tokyo, Japan. His expertise includes Adult Education, Critical Thinking, Biomedical Ethics, Epistemology, and Japanese Sociolinguistics. Dr. Topor also currently provides intercultural communicative competency to Japanese multinational corporations in Tokyo; haven provided educational services to the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education. He has an extensive portfolio of writings including The Need for Global Standard in Biomedical Ethics and the Qualitative Methodology, the Empowerment of Japanese Women: What Will the Social Impact Be?



Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suparman

Assoc. Professor of Applied Mathematics, Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Suparman is the Assoc. Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Graduate Program, Ahmad Dahlan University, Indonesia. He earned his B.S. in Mathematics Education from Lampung University (Indonesia), M.Sc. in Mathematics from Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia), and D.E.A. and PhD in Applied Mathematics from Paul Sabatier (France). He is the head of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Graduate Program, Ahmad Dahlan University.


Dr. David Harris-Birtill

PhD, MPhys (Hons), Lecturer, School of Computer Science, The University of St. Andrews, Scotland

Dr. David Harris-Birtill is a Lecturer in Computer Science, at the University of St. Andrews, UK, where he is Director of the Digital Health Masters programme and leads the Med-Tech team and Human-Computer Interaction research group. He has led projects funded by the Digital Health and Care Institute, Innovate UK, and industrial partners. David leads research projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (machine learning) and medical imaging, and lectures on machine learning, signal processing and human-computer interaction. David has a background in Medical Physics, and holds a PhD in Physics from the Institute of Cancer Research; he was also previously a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College, London. David is the Founder and Director of Beyond Medics, a company established to create medical imaging and sensing technology for patient benefit, where he is currently leading the development of a system that measures people’s vital signs at a distance using video camera footage.


Nasser Drareni

Associate Professor, English Specific Purposes, University of Lounici, Ali Blida2, Algeria

Nasser Drareni is an Associate professor of English specific purposes in different sciences at the Faculty of Economics, Commercial and Management Sciences, University of Lounici Ali Blida2 in Algeria, where he has taught for 21 years. He has published in national and international journals and is interested in the following research lines: active learning such as team-based and problem-based learning, concept maps and DIKW hierarchy or pyramid systems, Second language learning and teaching using active learning, English for Specific Purposes in different sciences such as medical education (risk factors for cardiovascular diseases), marketing, accounting, effective exchange rates, and management and also using Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Machine learning (ML) and Deep learning (DL) to promote learning and teaching English specific purposes (ESP) in different sciences. He is recently working on projects related to the education reform of English Specific Purposes (ESP) in different sciences at the University of Lounici Ali Blida2, Algeria.


Dr. Jennifer Paule Reyes

Associate Professor II, Full Time Faculty – College of Nursing, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, University of the City of Manila, Manila, Philippines

Dr Reyes completed her undergraduate at St. Jude College, her MAN major in Nursing Administration at the Philippine College of Health and Sciences, Inc., and her Doctor of Education major in Educational Administration at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in 2015. In 1998-2004 she started her work experiences as a staff nurse to Head Nurse in the clinical area before she joined the academe in June 2004. She is a dedicated and seasoned academician rising from the rank and file from Instructor III to Assistant Prof. III to now an Associate Professor II handling different nursing subjects both in the classroom and clinical areas. She assumed the various administrative post as follows, she was designated as Nursing Laboratory Coordinator to College Secretary to Associate Dean and in 2014-2016 she was designated as the Dean of the College Nursing both for the undergraduate and graduate programs. She is also a lifetime member of the following organization Member-Healthcare and Biological Sciences Research Association (HBSRA) and Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNA), also a member of the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines Inc., (ANSAP) and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) Alumni. She was invited as one of the HEIs resource person representatives and worked as Department of Health Partners on the following DOH Academy activity programs: 1. DOH 1st Partner’s Forum at Manila Pavillion Hotel, UN Ave. Manila on June 30, 2016; 2. DOH 2nd Partner’s Forum at Lewis Hotel, Clark Pampanga on October 26-28, 2016; 3. DOH Academy Orientation and Consultative Meeting at Selah Garden Hotel, Pasay City on February 28, 2017. She was selected by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines Department of Science and Technology as one of the Young Leaders to attend and participate in the Future Health Leader Workshop in November 2015. She has also taken part in voluntary works as a core-team member HELP Program in Partnership with Rock of Ages Ministry and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila College of Nursing from January 2018 to the Present providing health education, life and spirit seminar and gift-giving activities among person deprived of liberty (prisoners). Moreover, she Served/Invited Panelist During Oral Defense for the Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctorate programs (Theses and Dissertation Proposal and Final Defense) under PLM CN and PLM CED and likewise as International Paper Reviewer Member: GRDS Publishing, www.grdspublishing.org. Currently, she is a member of the Curriculum Committee and Research Committee of her College working hand in hand with her colleague in proposing a curriculum modification to address the issues and concerns brought about by this covid-19 pandemic.


Ana Sofia Saldanha

Translator (English and Spanish into Portuguese), Lecturer, Mentor (Member of the EMCC and Associate Board Member IMA), Lisbon, Portugal

Ana Sofia Saldanha is a Professional Translator at University Lecturer and Mentor. She is an associate Board Member of the International Mentoring Association in the USA and a member of the TERA Research Group. Her interests lie in Mentoring, Soft Skills, Training, and Continuous Professional Development for Translators. She is also interested in applying Mentoring in other areas of studies/professional development.



The main aims of the conference are:

  • Advancement of Research and Innovative ideas through conference, workshops, seminars, and publications
