TERA Fellow Program in Education


Fellow Program in Education of ‘Teaching and Education Research Association’ (TERA).


The program offers an opportunity to learn the key concepts and latest trends in the teaching industry from the stalwarts in the industry. The applicant would be honoured with a certificate of ‘Fellowship’ by the Program Director of TERA.

Eurasia Research International Conference begins with opening remarks by the honourable Keynote speaker highlighting the main context on Teaching and Education.


Our worthy Keynote speakers open up the conference enlightening participants with their speeches. Here is the list of keynote speakers who participated in our conferences:

Janos Varga

Keleti Faculty on Business and Management, Obuda University, Budapest, Hungary

Janos Varga is an assistant professor of Economics at Óbuda University, in Budapest, Hungary. Since 2010 he is lecturing in the different fields of management. He finished his PhD studies in 2012 and got a PhD 2 years later. During his research activities, he deals with the competitiveness of the economic participants (research areas: competitiveness of firms and nations, change management, quality of leadership). Dr Varga was a visiting lecturer in Romania and Poland (CEEPUS Award and Erasmus+ scholarships). He participates in national and international scientific organisations. He is a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Hungarian Economic Association. He is also a member of the Gate2Growth Academic Network Initiative and Business System Laboratory in Rome, Italy. Since 2011 he took part in five research projects as a team member or research leader. He has more than 130 publications in scientific journals and conference proceedings. Dr Varga has 10 years experience of teaching and he also participated in many training programmes in the last few years. He was an innovation expert of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fejer Country and at present, he is Excellence Ambassador at the Alliance of Excellence Institute in Hungary. He was awarded by Peter Drucker Society (Peter Drucker Essay Contest Winner), Poznan University of Technology (Young Researchers Award), Hungarian Association for Innovation (Harsányi István PhD Award), Óbuda University (Young Researcher of the Year Award), Balassi Institute (Campus Hungary Scholarship) etc. He is a special advisor of the European Parliament since 2018. Dr Varga is working as an assistant professor and deputy head of the Institute of Economics and Social Sciences at the Obuda University


Dr Froilan D Mobo Associate Professor II, Assistant Director, Department of Research and Development, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, Philippines

Dr. Froilan D Mobo is a Graduate of Doctor in Public Administration from the Urdaneta City University Class of 2016. He is currently finishing his 2nd Doctorate Degree leading to PhD in Development Education at the Central Luzon State University, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. After obtaining his Doctorate Degree he was promoted and designated to the position of Assistant Director and Associate Professor II of the Department of Research and Development in Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) and this gave him an opportunity to work with different international research institutions such as Regional Director and PhD Lecturer in Cel Academic, Malaysia., Lecturer in the Graduate School, Columban College, Olongapo City, and Pan Pacific University Executive Program.

He was also appointed as the Editor-in-Chief in the International Journal of Multidisciplinary: Applied Business and Education Research, Indonesia.

As a researcher by heart, he is an External Peer Reviewer in various international research journals and has been invited as keynote / Resource Speaker in various international conferences abroad and international universities around the globe.

In 2019, he was awarded as an Outstanding Alumnus in the Graduate School of Urdaneta City University, Pangasinan, and as Multi-Awarded International Researcher at present. Recently, He was appointed as the Ambassador at Large, Country Ambassador and Director for the International Human Rights Movement Philippines, and Country Head for IDYM Foundation Philippines.

At present, He is elected as the National President of Samahan ng mga manunulat na Pilipino and was able to publish 55 research articles with 13 citations indexed in Google Scholar, Scopus, ISI, and Crossref. He also published 6 international books in Europe, Indonesia, and India.


Beata Mirecka Jakubowska

Beata Mirecka Jakubowska, a passionate teacher with 37 years of experience in international schools, anticipates the future needs in her innovative teaching strategies. She has employed active learning approaches to seamlessly integrate technology, diversify learning, facilitate interpersonal relationships, and foster intercultural understanding. As a true 21st-century educator and consultant, Beata keeps equipping teachers and students with lifelong learning skills to navigate the rapidly-changing world of the digital era. After testing her Connect2Learn.education platform in South-East Asia, Beata actively promotes international cooperation between schools participating in EU and European Economic Area projects.

Dr Leila Mekacher

Head of Digital Research and Innovation, SRH Vocational Center Neckargemünd, Germany

Dr Leila Mekacher obtained her diploma engineering degree in electrical engineering and automation technology at the technical university of Kaiserslautern in Germany in 2005 and she received her doctorate in robotics and software engineering at the University of Mannheim in 2016. From 2006 to 2016 she was a research assistant and a member of the scientific staff at the Department of Automation, University of Heidelberg. From 2013-2015 she was the head of the research group “unmanned Aerial Vehicle” of the institute of computer Engineering at Heidelberg University and a scientific assistant of the research group “Dependable Robotics” (2010-2016). Since 2017 she is a science teacher as well as the founder and head of the Technological Education Centre at the Vocational Training Centre of the SRH in Neckargemünd. Furthermore, she is since 2018 a lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. For almost 20 years now, she has been working in various mentoring programs to promote young talent in the STEM world. She recently co-initiated and co-founded a campaign for women in STEM, which has been reported in various magazines and radio interviews and she got the title of “STEM Ambassador”.

She teaches and research interests include autonomous mobile robots, human-technology interaction, dependability and safety aspects in driver assistance systems, control engineering and process automation, real-time monitoring, and fault-detection mechanism for safety-critical systems. Another research field in which she has been working for many years is assistance systems for people with disabilities. She has researched rehabilitation robots e.g. on autonomous wheelchairs and she was a co-inventor of a patent for “View-based action control through adaptive recognition of natural object selection sequences” (DE102016009142A1). Her current research area is the didactic-methodical Integration of technologies in education, e.g. virtual and mixed reality for immersive interactive education. She focuses her research also on young people with special needs, autism, and significant social interaction difficulties. The findings from this research are also useful for the design of the workplaces of the future, where the human will be exposed to more Information than his brain can process at one time and therefore new strategies for information processing will be required.


Ana Sofia Saldanha

Translator (English and Spanish into Portuguese), Lecturer, Mentor (Member of the EMCC and Associate Board Member IMA), Lisbon, Portugal

Ana Sofia Saldanha is a Portuguese Professional Translator and Lecturer in Translation at University and Mentor. She is an Associate Board Member of the IMA (International Mentoring Association) and Part of the Board of Directors of APTRAD (Portuguese Translators` Association). She is interested in Mentoring, Mentoring as a Pedagogical Tool for Higher Education, Mentoring for Translators, and Mentoring to Close the Gap between Universities and Future Professionals.


Jose Elmer S. Oficiar, PhD

University of Mindanao Tagum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Philippines

Dr. Jose Elmer Oficiar is a college and graduates school professor of the University of Mindanao Tagum Branch. He has been teaching English, Linguistics and Literature for 13 years in the said institution. He is an active researcher of LGBTQ+ topics and considered to be one of the prime movers for inclusivity of gay teachers in the academe which lead him to be awarded the “Pride Excellence Award” on his research in “Morpho-Semantic Analysis of Gay Lingo” given by the City Government of Tagum. He is a Peer Reviewer and consultant for research in various institutions in the Region. He was invited to be the Chief Speaker for Australasia International Model United Nations and delivered a topic on “The Value of Research in International Diplomacy”. He is a published author of books in Communicative English and Philippine Literature. And, once served as one of the Lead Auditors for ISO 9001:2015 in his school until 2019


Dr. David Harris-Birtill

PhD, MPhys (Hons), Lecturer, School of Computer Science, The University of St Andrews, Scotland

Dr. David Harris-Birtill is a Lecturer in Computer Science, at the University of St Andrews, UK, where he is Director of the Digital Health Masters programme and leads the Med-Tech team and Human-Computer Interaction research group. He has led projects funded by the Digital Health and Care Institute, Innovate UK, and industrial partners. David leads research projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (machine learning) and medical imaging, and lectures on machine learning, signal processing and human-computer interaction. David has a background in Medical Physics, and holds a PhD in Physics from the Institute of Cancer Research; he was also previously a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College, London. David is the Founder and Director of Beyond Medics, a company established to create medical imaging and sensing technology for patient benefit, where he is currently leading the development of a system that measures people’s vital signs at a distance using video camera footage.


Prof. Dr Meryem Laadem

Assistant Professor, Higher School of Technology Meknes (ESTM), Moulay Ismail University of Meknes, Morocco

Prof. Dr Meryem Laadem is Assistant Professor in the Higher School of Technology Meknes (ESTM) at the Moulay Ismail University of Meknes- Morocco. She had published many articles in English and presented them in national and international conferences all over Morocco and abroad. Her research and teaching interests cover several aspects across pedagogy, teaching methods, sociolinguistics, media and mobile learning, cultural studies, language and communication. She has received several important recognitions to her research career, including The Young Researcher Scholarship from Universidad De Barcelona for her published article, and she was Honored by the “Quarterly Franklin Membership” offered by London Journals Press UK.

Alykhan Dhanani

Teacher-Educator, Private School Industry, Tanzania

Alykhan Dhanani is a teacher-educator in the private school industry in Tanzania. He received his BSc. (Hons) Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich in 2012. He then pursued his academic career in Education and received his double Master's degree in 2015 from the University College of London, Institute of Education in the field of Teaching and the other in Education (Muslim Societies and Civilisations). Alykhan’s field of study and expertise is Education technology, where he tries to link existing educational theories to contemporary times. He has attended and presented at various education conferences in his career. Currently, he works to explore bridging the gap and the divide in various educational contexts in the developing world setting.


The main aims of the conference are:
